When I saw Checkmate I literally cheered. I can't remember the last time I cheered at a TV. My introduction to comics was a couple of years before Infinite Crisis, so yeah, that's my jam right there.

I have a question about Metamorpho. His visuals look more like Shift (I miss Shift... and Indigo... *sigh* Judd Winick's Outsiders is my favourite ever comic arc ) - was the design of Metamorpho influenced by Shift at all?

Rachel Brosnahan, for me, is magnificent. Like Reeve, I loved Margot Kidder, and I dont think anyone has delivered a good Lois since. Until now. Brosnahan really stands out with a solid performance.

Its a great movie. Put everything else in the past, just go and watch and, hopefully, enjoy.

David Corenswet is absolutely Superman. I have always maintained Christopher Reeve is my favourite, but it appears we have a new challenger and his game is good.
