In the Navy, NASA, and the Senate, I’ve served under many presidents whose integrity and dedication to upholding our Constitution made our country stronger. On Presidents’ Day, I’m especially grateful for the leaders throughout our history who’ve embodied those principles.

Confidence in Trump Dips, and Fewer Now Say They Support His Policies and Plans Only 27% of Americans say they support all or most of Trump's policies – down since last year, with the change coming entirely among Republicans.

Trump is way underwater in the new Pew poll – 37% approval, 61% disapproval. More than half (52%) support “few” or “none” of Trump’s policies. We need to keep driving down his numbers to make his dictator moves untenable.

When the news media say the U.S. attack on Venezuela “raises legal questions,“ that’s code for “the president is violating the law, but no one is going to stop him.”

Millions of Americans remain at jobs they hate for one reason: the health insurance they receive. That’s absurd.

Universal health care will give Americans the freedom to choose the work they want without worrying about health care coverage.

Another reason for Medicare for All.

The bottom 90% lost a collective $79 trillion in wages over the past 50 years.

Why? Because the top 1% ate up an increasingly larger share of the national income — so that $79 trillion flowed to them instead of the working class.

The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.
