My Dad had a bootleg of The Five Doctors followed by one of these. Definitive memory of Fawlty Towers is the theme tune cutting in, with wobbly picture and highly variable speed after watching 5 Docs for the thousandth time. That thing where the tape lost its mind when you started recording.

May have aired like this in 1978, 1979, 1984 & 1986. (I have no solid data on when they got new copies from BBC and when they reused their old ones). But I've heard enough separate memories of these green credits to be sure it looked like this for everyone in Australia on at least one broadcast.

Another Spearhead oddity I've never had an explanation for - Episode 1 had green credits in Australia for at least the 1984 airing. Was this some kind of early draft that got replaced with the red version? A very obscure technical glitch?
