Retired, back in UK after time away, likes walking, baking, motorcycles & warm weather. Left of centre, pro EU. Don't DM me a generic "Hi"/"Hello" & little else it makes me think you're a bot, ditto 1/2 naked pictures. It'll earn an instant block.

My Chinese car can report that I go to the store, occasionally look after grandkids and visit my elderly Mum. The PLA can have that info.

And they'll end up smoothing the way for Fatrage to slither into #10.

Fortunately I need to charge away from home rarely the pricing is ridiculous, Tesla remain about the best VFM at around 55p but still more expensive than my petrol car and it will worse once Reeves per mile charge comes in.

I am an idle pensioner now so my/our income is pretty modest. I know youngsters in London now on 100k incomes and while they're far from strapped it's not wealthy.

I maybe misrecalling but Henry after meeting with Aske promised that he'd not be harmed so that when he subsequently reneged the others were either hung drawn & quartered or in the case of nobels beheaded Aske was hung in chains to starve/die from thirst from the walls of York. Not directly injured.

For many years I was a diver, we used to regularly fund raise for the RNLI. Ended up getting rescued once. I've sent the occasional one off donation and the recent disgraceful protests by the "patriots" encouraged me to make another.

This with bells on. While we cannot replicate the French model for reducing the parasite class today something that stops short of shorterning them but removes the wealth, privilege, immunity et al is needed

Exactly, years ago (so it's probably progressed 🀞🏼) I was involved in proof of concept to get basic telephony and data services with cost optimized cellular base stations in at the time Tanzania. This was too get the services to the most rural areas.

I am old enough that I had measles, mumps etc al because the vaccines were not available. Damn sure my kids got every vaccine that was around and they're making sure their kids do too.

What next the return of polio?

Starmer is hopeless no political acumen whatsoever. He's knifed whatever was left on the left and told them to go (so they did), his pursuit of the reform flagshaggers will go nowhere and he's lost the centre doing so.

Weasle Streeting admits in the released emails with Mandelson that he knows it's genocide but still the government is arming the terrorist state and providing intelligence.

Not American and married to a Malaysian. In Malaysia the only thing that marks my wife as married is the government, banks, etc. write to her as Mdm not Miss and to be fair I think a lot of that is age as well.

Returned the battery fully charged to the car and the little bike. Bike will just about start on the choke but will not idle. Car spins but no life whatsoever <bugger>.

After some open wallet surgery the car is fixed, fuel pump replaced. The bike I'll have to revisit tomorrow or Monday.

Heading back to Penang for a far to short visit, a wedding and CNY. Sadly family circumstances sent us down the wrong leg of the trousers of time so it is no longer our home.

Nigel Farage’s partner 'drawn into Brussels fraud probe at Eurosceptic think tank' | LBC Investigators reportedly uncovered what they described as β€œserious” financial irregularities at IDDE

As I recall his German wife has ditched him and fled back to the Fatherland with their kids. His current paramour is French and bought "his" house in Clacton which is dodgy in itself as she has insufficient funds and is under investigation for fraud in Brussels www.lbc.co.uk/article/nige...

And he is pasty white so you'd have though low risk. Despite having relatives in the US we're not visiting. Mrs B is not pasty white and ergo is to scared she'd be hoovered up by their Geheime Staatspolizei and off to one of Trump's concentration camps.

When I paid my general handyman even as far back as 2010 he was saying cash was a pain and preferred a transfer. As he put otherwise he had to bag it up, count it all and make a special trip to the bank. I am sure having some was useful but having a boat load not.

Had to order a chequebook recently. I was depositing our will with the high court for which there is a one off Β£23 fee, payable by cheque. I expect that will be the last time I write a cheque.
