35 years ago today, Bob was assassinated outside Internationalist Books in Chapel Hill, NC. We still don't know who killed him, but the shooting took place in the shadows of the Greensboro Massacre and the Shelby gay bookstore murders. 1/

Probably the best photograph I’ve ever taken of a rare species of bat flying up a sunken path at dusk, pursued doggedly by a faintly outlined human ghost.

I don't hate my job, my job rules; just the University and its leadership makes it very, very tough to continue to do it without feeling the ick.

UNC-CH Drops 'Library' From Merged School's Name Leaders from the existing schools said the “values” that libraries represent will remain a key tenet.

“All of those values that people associate with libraries and archives, those things are still going to remain,” Kelly said. “They’re not going anywhere.”

Just co-opting the name/brand recognition of libraries (makes me sick to even think of it like that) for their new stupid school.
