Twitter's usage is massively inflated by bot accounts and it's biggest users are journalists (for obv reasons) and Nazis (for other obv reasons). A place like BlueSky's best hope is to just coast with a dedicated user base

I think the main reason BlueSky won't "take off" like twitter did is that this format does not attract new social media users and there's nothing this platform or any other could do to change that. The kids like videos, so text based social media apps just aren't going to grow significantly

They may overestimate their support, but they believe they can fool some and scare the rest. They don't think about how this will play out in the long run because they are incarnated forms of the human death drive and deep down they know they're driving into their own demise
