Thank you for taking the time to like and comment. No I don’t believe these are. I however am not an expert so I could be wrong. Chanterelles do grow around here but I don’t believe these are.

Love industrial history so a visit to Stott Park Bobbin Mill in the Lake District was brilliant. An old black lamp hangs redundant against a whitewashed stone and brick wall. Photograph taken in late October in the pine woods at Formby, Red Squirrel Reserve, UK. Sunlight peeps through the pine trees casting shadows on the undulating ground beneath. OK, so not technically a forest but a beautiful wood nonetheless. Managed by the National Trust. Bit light on proper forests nearby but being little, it certainly feels like one 😊

A forest isn't just the spectacular beauty of trees, the oxygen emanating from them and the health benefits of its stillness. It is a whole microcosm of other worlds too.
