At the Champs De Rêves dream gardens in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, a giant, vine-covered living sculpture resembling an open-mouthed dragon with long sharp teeth sits in a garden under a clear sky, conveying a whimsical, natural tone. One can walk inside this mosaiculture, through the entire body and out the tail for an immersive experience (and for moments of reprieve in cool shade on a blistering hot day!)

First of all, rude.

A dog sits near a tall shoe rack filled with various types of shoes in a room with wooden flooring. All shoes are stacked on high shelves, out of the dog’s reach.

“Guys, correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe I’m sensing a lack of trust here, and frankly, it hurts my feelings.”

I was at our grocery store and they were replacing two of the freezer cases because they’ve been leaking for years. Then I saw the old freezer cases out in the parking lot and I momentarily got sentimental like Aww, all the years I’ve shopped those cases. And then I reminded myself to get a grip.

The moon bled silver, smearing the contours of the trees, the bog, the too-still waters, forming a seamless haze. From the soggy bank, Ray raised his lantern, searching for what hunted here, what crept within the moon's blood.

At his feet, the water rippled.
