The two-term limit for the presidency is something I think might be a third-rail in American politics.

Most of the unconstitutional things that Trump is doing are pretty amorphous to the average American.

But the two-term limit is something literally every person learned at 7 years old.

It’s a problem that a lot of people don’t think Republicans believe what they actually believe

I think it’s also a symptom of “caring isn’t cool” culture and how people largely think things are fine and if you actually say what’s happening then you’re “being hysterical”

If the GOP really wanted to get rid of Trump they could have easily done so in the months after January 6th but they didn’t and that was their choice

That’s totally fair but I think the award has always weighed historical precedent.

You can argue that it was wrong to do so but basing the award SOLELY on the year and the year alone has really never been the practice

I understand voting Jokic for MVP, even though I’d pick Shai.

But if you’re going to give Jokic his 4th MVP you have to know that means you are effectively saying Jokic is one of the 7-8 best players of all time.

Not even saying I necessarily disagree with that but that’s what it implies.
