For trans men IN PARTICULAR (even if not exclusively) the retort to this, no matter what answer they give, is generally that it's a sexist stereotype and women can do/be whatever the thing is.

When you ask trans ppl why they want to transition they will most likely fall back on commonly understood stereotypes about what each gender is better at bc they are trying to get you to accept the answer by using the common language of gender.

I'm glad Bolts is covering this. It's one of several big problems with the parole system in New Mexico. Another one: sex offenders with long parole terms get a violation, go back to prison, and can't get out. For years, people serving "in-house parole" couldn't get hearings with the parole board.
