I joined the USAF in 1971 during the tail end of Vietnam. I retired in 1991 after the first Gulf War. It took that long for people to quit despising the military. There are very few,
if any, active duty personnel who remember those times. I'm afraid they're gonna find out the feeling very quick.

They can take all the time they want as long as Season 4 drops by mid-Nov 26. That would be 18 months between seasons, which is what we had between S2 and S3. 2 years is too long.

2. Lord Luc is the Forsaken secretly in the open. Posing as a Hunter allows him to easily integrate into the flow of things.
