Feel free to start reading this thread again from the top, because that's basically how it feels. 😕

But then after posting it, often within mere minutes, there will be someone - sometimes multiple people - in my comments lamenting the fact that they have been waiting for a very long time for me to do their video.

Good feeling gone.

When I'm able to check those videos off my list, it helps relieve some of the stress and (honestly) guilt I feel for making them wait so long. Clicking "post" on a response to someone who's been waiting for a long time - especially a longtime fan - feels great.

In those cases, I will often try to do their video as soon as I reasonably can. (Assuming I don't get overwhelmed by yet more requests that make me forget, but I digress.) So I'll bust my butt to find their location, record and edit my video, and post it.

At least once a week, someone will point out to me that they have been waiting for me to feature their submission in one of my #geolocation videos for a very long time. (Like, literal years.) That often results in me feeling bad for not doing it, and so I'll try to make it a priority to get to it...

I haven’t listened to Hank explain his method, but that sounds like what I do, too. Synonyms are often green / yellow, but “parts of a whole” feels more like a blue category to me 🤷‍♂️ but many days the colors confound me

I always play the color mini game 😆 and try to get them in reverse order everyday

That’s funny because I have to play in the morning. If I let it go until the afternoon or (worse) before bed, I do significantly worse.

…I usually use a brief clip of the previous location. I’ve mostly avoided using sponsored locations in those segments just to avoid any potential issues, but I suspect I’m being overly cautious 🤷‍♂️

Your intuition is right here - in some cases, sponsors assert ownership over content, which can limit reuse. Having the pins on the map isn’t an issue, per se, but the spreadsheet that drives it is the same one I use to check for closest previous locations. For those segments…

Good eye! I should probably add them. I sometimes capture the locations for sponsored content differently (for very mundane reasons) in my location spreadsheet. But some of the other ones I’ve done are in there, so perhaps I ought to add them. 🤔
