Coaching a group of people is also as much if not more human connection with the players and getting them to believe in you and whatβs going on as it is tactics. Your tactics can suck but if the players believe in it, it changes the way they play

Speaking as a coach as well as a data fanatic - albeit at a lower level, to play risky styles of football means not caring about whether or not you have a job or not. Managers get fired for losing. Itβs all good until you lose.
