I want a politics that widens the circle to include everyone, not one that shrinks the circle by throwing *undesirables* under the bus. I think this is basic. I am interested in a politics that is rooted at the sources of people's suffering. I am interested in a politics that attends to basic needs.

Off the top of my head "Anne of Green Gables". Strong female character dedicated to whimsy, delight, her family and friends and creating a good life for herself. Gilbert as an example of how good men respect and uplift the women in their lives.

Yes. My family has always been homeschoolers & it feels more pressing than ever that their education be about mutual aid/community. Thankful to have family friendly community cook nights for our local community fridges. The kitchen space is shared by 2 MA organizations which I also deeply respect.

I read a huff post piece tonight about covid and when talking about wastewater it said that it is not always reliable bc virus being detected may be old virus folks are still shedding. Are you familiar with this? I've argued that wastewater is the gold standard and now I feel less sure.
