They're a better option, but for me there's a lot more effort involved in ripping them 😅

I can't support any streaming model. I buy CDs, rip them, then put the mp3s on my phone. I know it's time-consuming and you're a bit more limited to how much is available to you at any one time, but buying CDs (or even digital downloads) from the artists directly is the best way to support them.

I keep thinking of Beth Upton today, who won against an absolutely foul, racist bigot, and should be having the best day, but is still being monstered by our entire media, for the crime of merely existing as her authentic self and doing a job in the NHS that helps people, all day every day.

I can confirm that people here in Fife have been consistently denigrating NHS Fife for "spending all that money" on this.

The real victim at the centre of this absurd case is very clearly Dr Beth Upton

You'd never know it from these headlines that she lost all her claims on the actual substance of the case, claiming that trans people must be banned from bathrooms.

Today’s judgment in the Sandie Peggie case says exactly what we have been saying – For Women Scotland does not require a trans bathroom ban:

TERF: brings court case with a scattergun of largely ludicrous allegations

Court: dismisses almost all allegations but upholds one or two of the less ludicrous ones

Media: THIS TERF WON HER CASE AND NOW THE TRANSES ARE ILLEGAL AND YOU MUST STONE THEM IN THE STREETS

A band I used to be in use AI for posters. In their case, it's not to save money, it's laziness. I used to do some of the posters (not to save money but because I loved doing them), but a bandmate who also made some posters (he's a great artist) now just uses AI. 😢

Saw some gig posters using Ai and that’s no good. Gig posters are a lot of artists first gig, they’re fucking with the ecosystem of students getting £20 so I’m making stickers because thermal label printers are our cheapest propaganda tool
