I was surpised how fascinating this was. I'd have taken a different approach completing Marco Polo, Reign of Terror, Tenth Planet, Invasion and Space Pirates. As this would complete seasons 1 & 6 so we could have complete Blu-Ray collections for them PLUS we complete the regeneration stories.

The short film Swim directed by Lucy Abraham, written by Molly Byrne, music by William Patrick Harrison has won the Passemithe Award for Best Jersey and Channel Islands short film at the Jersey Film Festival. This was its world premiere too, having been filmed in Jersey.

Just got back from an epic 2 week return to Japan. Here are the highlights over the next few days.

Day 1 - Asakusa (Tokyo) We arrived late afternoon and took an easy stroll around Sensō-ji Temple, right on the doorstep of our hotel.

On a similar vein, last time I visited my Son in Brighton he told me what some of the locals call the i360. So I think when it is relaunched by the new owners they should rename it The Prince Albert Tower, to tie in with Brighton's Victorian heritage and its less acceptable local name :-)

In a wooded glade in Hampshire … this Boobook lives at The Hawk Conservancy Trust. I was so privileged to be able to photograph him in the woodland. He looked straight at me and sent a tingle down my spine. #boobook #owl #hawkconservancytrust

I’m fascinated by symbiotic relationships and this type of symbiosis is mutualism.I took this image at Bushy Park where the Jays are often seen picking the ticks off the Deer. Both species benefit, and seem to enjoy it, although the Jay do get batted away from time to time #symbiosis #deer #bushypark

Huge congratulations to all the finalists, especially the talented 11th Doctor Chronicles team. I was fortunate enough to be engineering this at the studio and can say that the energy and passion from everyone behind this release was electric. A well deserved nomination. Fingers crossed 🀞

Buzzard on grass, lightening the load immediately prior to take off

We have a breeding pair in the woods behind our garden so we often see them circling in a pair and some times with an extra one. I'll see them on the common in the winter mornings when I walk the dog. They say timing is everything in a photo, so here's one I caught about to take off.
