Can somebody please explain to me why somebody who was convicted of trafficking children for sex is being treated better than people who have committed no crime but are still incarcerated in inhumane ICE detention facilities?

Why do we have to fight, yell and scream to get innocent people released from ice detention?

What happens to the detainees who have no one to fight for them? Do they just disappear, are they just a body that funds the Ice concentration system?

Our tax money is funding those private prisons. 😡

Every single day the concentration camps stay open is a travesty that our country will never live down. Our elected officials should be barging down those walls with the military behind them, arresting every guard within, and then removing the GOP from power because of these human rights violations

The United States is torturing immigrants. Do you care?

Because if you're American, this is being done in your name.

I'm a daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter of immigrants. What if they did this to my family? What if they did it to yours?

Americans agree: our country’s child care system is fundamentally broken.

Democrats' Child Care for Working Families Act would cut the cost of care to just $15 a day.

It's a commonsense solution. So why are Republicans standing in its way?

History and progress go hand-in-hand. As we build Saint Paul, we know we must look to what’s best about our past—walkable, bikable mixed-use neighborhoods, world-class architecture, and more. I’m proud SP Historic Preservation believes in my vision of a vibrant Saint Paul grounded in our history.

Trump officially made the biggest cuts to health care in US history.

Trump made the biggest cuts to food stamps in US history.

Trump added $4.1T to the debt to give tax cuts to the ultra-rich and corporations.

Bike theft is a major issue right now.

I used to shrug it off bc the only bike theft I’d experienced before this year was an unlocked bike taken from our yard 10+ years ago.

What’s happening in Mpls right now is next level, w/ break ins to locked garages, secure apartment storage areas, etc.

Hortman was good at disagreeing, which is the essence of democratic politics • Minnesota Reformer If we are to learn anything from Melissa Hortman’s example, it must be the belief that disagreement, even sharp, principled, partisan disagreement, is not a danger to democracy, but its design.

"Everything I’ve read ... demonstrates that she stepped into public life not to erase disagreement, but to organize it and to make it productive."

Today, we recognize Black Women’s Equal Pay Day.

For every dollar a white man earns, a Black woman earns just 66 cents.

That’s not just a wage gap—it’s a justice gap. We demand equal pay and economic justice for Black women and ALL women.
