It's funny when your mind connects to a time & place you forgot you remembered. I tasted a smoothie today just like the virgin daiquiris I discovered I could order at Logan's Roadhouse as a kid, and in my mind's eye I saw the pretty curvy glass and all the peanuts on the floor. 😄

Finally saw Wicked today after much anticipation! Loved Ariana & Cynthia together & the thoughtfulness in the performances, music, design. A total work of art. The political & social themes are as perennial & relevant as ever (and even more in the novel). I hope we all find a little more Elphaba.

The Women Composers Collection contains approximately 2,800 musical works by more than 700 composers. With the exception of several dozen 18th-century works, the music is almost evenly divided between the 19th and 20th centuries. The scores have been digitized, with many available in HathiTrust.
