Beautiful Sunday in April and I had Long Dale (pictured) and Minninglow to myself, just Red Admirals & skylarks for company.

Got a lift many years ago when travelling in southern Texas from a nice old boy in an even older pickup. But he drove so slowly & made lots of inexplicable diversions, even getting lost at one point. I eventually got out & caught a Greyhound bus instead.
