Federal lists of banned words for research scientists. It seems that “white” and “male” are okay, but not “female” or “Hispanic”. The list goes on.

Beyond the origin of the impulse, I’m concerned that this is another way to suppress democracy. I expect to see an expansion of capital offenses to include lesser offenses committed by undocumented individuals.
