Saw the Royal Shakespeare Company production of My Neighbour Totoro last night and it was so good. People just straight up gasped at how good some of the set design and puppetry was.

Seeing posters for the My Neighbor Totoro show all over the London Underground (which is really cool to see). 👀

Side Note: Go see the show, it is superb. ✨

The outside of the Gillian Lynne Theatre with the entire front face taken by an enormous “My Neighbour Totoro” marquee. The artwork shows Satsuki holding a red umbrella over Mei. The review underneath says “The Five Star hit returns, believe the hype”

My view from near the back of the stalls, slightly house right. The rake means the view is great despite being slightly further from the stage. The stage is empty apart from a blue sign that says “My Neighbor Totoro”. In reality all the letters are puppets and the U inserts itself into “Neighbour” at the very start of the show.

Just went to see Totoro with a friend… aaaah I loved it when I saw it the Barbican a few years ago but it’s even bigger and better now! So magical, this is what theatre was made for. Got Rush Tickets for it too, if you can see it I highly recommend!
