4. Not having fired Joe Schoen yesterday: If he stands pat through today, you definitely should fire him. Free up some cap space and secure draft capital. If that doesn't happen, this GM is just stealing paychecks from you.

3. Seen a lot of chatter to trade Evan Neal, Jalin Hyatt and Deonte Banks. The flaw with those recommendations is that all 3 players suck. You're not getting better than a 6th-rounder for any of them. Frankly, you can toss Bobby Okereke into that lot as well.

About 2.5 hours until the #NFLTradeDeadline. Some thoughts regarding the #Giants:

1. Joe Schoen should have been fired yesterday morning. No reason to enter deadline day with a clear lame-duck GM.

2. Best idea I've seen in last 24 hours: Ship Dexter Lawrence to Miami for Waddle + a draft pick.

There's weak points all over the #Giants roster, particularly on defense. Some of them, nobody saw coming: Look at how Dexter Lawrence has "played" this season. 2 yrs ago he was the best interior DL man in the NFL.

Mind-blowing to think that the Giants burned a 1st Rd pick on Deonte Banks.
