Oh dear, is it business as usual in the Fandom sphere?

This one is Cryptid art but also nostalgic #Dinosaur art to me. The Arica Monster sightings described an animal reminiscent of the Raptors from Jurassic Park, or some Bird-Kangaroo-Lizard creature. I went more with Raptor for the sake of nostalgia.

Third one for #Cryptoctober, based on the list by @bestcryptids.bsky.social . Rock Apes were reported during the Vietnam War. They were described as monkey, ape, even hominidlike. Rock Apes had the habit of throwing rocks, hence the moniker. #cryptozoology #art #sketchbook

Second #drawing for #cryptoctober. Pach-an-a-ho is an alleged cryptid, looking like Gastornis, an extinct large flightless bird. There were claimed sightings in 1975, and also it's allegedly known to the Yakima tribe. The name is supposed to mean "crooked beak" or "rough looking bird" in Yakima.

Some #sketches from my visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum. I simply forgot to post them

Ohhhhh, that's interesting. I sketched the skull of the Helsinki specimen many, many years ago.

My finished sketch of Theseus and the Minotaur. It's drawn in pencil and shows Theseus sitting on the fallen Minotaur's lap similar to the sexual Riding Position.

I was in UK, and visited the Victoria and Albert Museum among other things. And I did some sketching in the museum. Here is the video and the sketch.

Das ist ein Paradebeispiel, dass ein Künstler nicht automatisch ein guter Lehrer ist. Da ging so ziemlich Alles schief, was schief gehen kann. So richtig daneben finde ich das Reinpfuschen in die Bilder der Kinder. Das ist ein absolutes No-Go. (1/2)
