I mailed check in June. It was never cashed. Now, I’m getting letters demanding payment. Since trying to reach someone by phone was just an exercise in frustration, I wrote a letter explaining that I had sent in a payment. I refuse to send another check until I know what happened to the 1st one.

Fixings my problem wasn’t his purview, but he was able to pull up my account & review it. I was instructed to send in a check to cover overpayment. That would resolve the issue. I was warned it may take weeks, if not months, for the accounting to be sorted out.

This problem couldn’t be resolved via AI. I needed a human.

After being on hold for several hours over several days, I went through all my paperwork. I found a phone number that was actually answered by a real person. Hallelujah!

Before Trump took over, I was able to reach my caseworker via voice mail. He would usually respond within 24 hrs. He got my enrollment straightened out. When I tried to reach him about the overpayment (after Trump took over) his voice mail was still operating, but he never returned my phone calls.

I’m one of those seniors.

I turned 65 six months before Trump 2.0. I enrolled for Medicare, but not SS. Not sure what happened, but I got enrolled in SS, not Medicare. Long story short, I received a payment I shouldn’t have.

I will repeat this every single day for the next three years: Any Democrat running for president in 2028 must pledge to immediately tear down/bulldoze/demolish Trump’s ballroom and fully restore the East Wing and any other piece of the People’s House Trump has or will destroy.

Many of those willing to starve kids for political advantage will kneel on the floor of the House or Senate and pray to their god for the strength to do so.

President Biden banned the use of technology that can turn our phones into means of spying on us without our knowledge or warrants. Trump has reversed that ban.

I don’t see how we stop Trump without a national strike.

If 3.5% of the population marching in protest can cause real change, what happens if 3.5% of the population stays home/refuses to spend $$$ for a day, three days, a week.

I don’t think majority of American understand the peril we are in.
