Too much authority and social games in academia instead of the science I love, became quite disillusioned quite fast and went to do something I felt more worthwhile. Not to diss science at all, but there's a lot there my ND head can't stand.

Well honestly, I studied psychology, and we ran into that research in a science group. Many members individually checked it's valid and real, it's THAT shocking even to people who are supposed to know this stuff 😅

Oh yeah kiddos have it way too good these days. I bought a 3/4 size Jackson awhile ago for like 300 bucks new and was blown away with how good quality and playable it was after a setup. The gear is just awesome for the price now across the board.

I get good when the team requires it but I'm in it for the social experience, I don't honestly give a rat's ass about how good I am in world ranking of some computer game. There's more consequential things to worry about in life 🙃

I pretty much play competitive games (that tend to be toxic) only with people I know and who understand that a game is a game, not the Olympics. Even playing seriously is a lot of fun when you don't have too tryhard attitude in the team 🥰
