BIG: California has passed a new law, AB 144, that formally divorces the state’s vaccine laws from the authority wielded by the federal government, and allows the state to base future immunization guidance on credible, independent medical organizations instead.

After cooking up the beans (purchased from Blue House Farms, Pescadero, CA at SF Stonestown Farmer’s Market), I prepared a batch of roasted veggies and added cheese-topped beans for the last 10min.

I purchased these beautiful beans at the farmer’s market last week. But perhaps just as delightful a discovery was @ranchogordo.bsky.social ‘s listing for these beans where avid fans also write in ways to cook them!!
