A few pages away from finishing my draft of Bec part 4. From a purely creative and wish-fulfilment standpoint, I am genuinely gutted to be so close to finishing my writing on the script, but equally tremendously excited to deliver the goods to @darrenshan.com and @ijazi.bsky.social !!!

Pretty gutted that my original and signed copy of Bec went missing in London these past few weeks, but joyfully I've received my new copy...and it has the same cover! Writing the Bec finale can now continue. 🙂

I couldn't be happier that @darrenshan.bsky.social feels the faithfulness to his stories in our Demonata TV scripts. Especially my 'Bec' scripts. The truth is, there would've been no point in adapting the books by not staying true to the books, especially since they're already fantastic stories.

When Spielberg hails filmmaking as the ultimate couch, he ain't kidding. Storyboarding is a time that you can put aside all the world's problems, and simply enjoy imagining your film as the first member of its audience. A satisfying part of the process. #billyfearlessfilm

It's been a crazy but really fulfilling couple of days storyboarding an action scene for Billy Fearless.

A very positive meeting just now with Ijaz (@ijazi.bsky.social) and Darren Shan ( @darrenshan.bsky.social). We're getting very close to beginning talks with the studios/streaming services/television channels etc. #thedemonatatvseries

I've always wanted to collaborate with a costume designer, and I'm thrilled to say that I've now entered the creative sandbox with Natasha Bilingham, the costume designer of viral Sci-Fi short 'The Nostalgist'. Expect very 'grunge' rock inspired anti-heroes, and very regal vampires! #vampirefilm

We probably won't see entertainment of a Universal quality at Merlin's UK parks, since they're very much regional players. But should Universal Studios GB happen, we'll most definitely have closely comparable entertainment to Universal parks globally. :)
