Coming Friday: the Blantyre cardigan pattern! A lovely lace cardigan with all over lace patterns and a v-neck. The body is knit flat in pieces and seamed before picking up to work the sleeves in the round. 10 sizes up to 66” chest.

I should’ve striped in the different dye lot into the brioche section so I’d have enough of the original dye lot for the sleeves and bands. But am I willing to rip all that out? 🫣

Recently watched Future Man and although it’s quite vulgar/raunchy (produced by Seth Rogan) it was really good! Wolf is the best character by far.

I think I will be calling it Blantyre! I’m hoping to release this pattern in July.

We got a new AC and it is keeping things at a nice 24 inside. I won’t go outside though!

Not really a Doctor Who finale spoiler: how did Mel’s hair do that, and how did she drive her scooter there?? Wacky. Very sad that 15 only got 2 short seasons.

Tried Indomie Mi Goreng today for the first time (somehow!) and it was very tasty. Kept it pretty simple with corn and edamame, and a fried egg.

Went to the Korean grocery for kimchi, gimbap, fried chicken and rice cakes. Now I think it’s time to sit on the couch and knit!

So it looks like Kotn has done away with XXL sizes? I’m sad, I love my t-shirt from there and was hoping to get a couple more.

That thing where I really want to start a new knitting project but all my yarns seem wrong.

I made three layer Jello! I use less water so it’s firmer. Blue, purple, raspberry.

Howwww is it that Excel thinks everything is a date except for actual dates!!

Dinner: shallots, zucchini, tofu, cabbage, garlic, ginger, light and dark soy, sugar, shao xing wine, chili crisp, green onions, coriander, sesame seeds and oil, white pepper.

I have been to Service Ontario THREE times so far and not had any luck doing what I need to do. Fourth time’s a charm?

My dad is being discharged from the rehab hospital on Friday and will have a PSW every day. Renting a wheelchair so the floor needs to be clear! Kinda wish we had ever moved as a family so we’d get rid of stuff, ha. Instead it’s 40+ years of accumulation.

I just don’t understand how my mom is ok with having boxes of (non perishable) groceries on the floor instead of having places for it to go! Just keeps ordering with no place to put anything.

Got up to go to the bathroom and now I can’t get back to sleep because I keep thinking of how to unfuck my parents’ house. Spent yesterday getting a truckload out of the house but there is sooooo much stuff 😫😫

We bought some Chapman’s ice cream and while the flavour was good, the texture was too whipped and cotton candy-ish at regular freezer temp. Put it in the chest freezer and it’s much better!

My yarn stash isn’t inspiring me. Maybe I need a field trip!
