It is abhorrent that we aren’t just causing inflation through bad economics, but making it worse by actively yanking at random on the tariff lever.

It’s just impossible to quantify where and when it’s the tariff on a particular item. Stop doing ALL the things that are jacking inflation back up!

They aren’t forgetting at all. They are counting on the republican snap recipients being low information and blaming democrats for the suffering.

Loss of subsidy plus massive premium increase (which begets another massive increase next year too and so on). Who benefits? Not individuals. Not businesses trying to insure their employees. Not doctors who no longer have patients with coverage. Insurance company execs and stockholders benefit.

This is also a fine way to be positioned to prevent any sort of protest or uprising that may be justified by this corrupt administration’s fuckwittery.

They need to go to Canada. Props for taking action, but last time they did this the result was just delayed, not thwarted.
