A screenshot from the Google play store. The search term is "Bluesky". The first result (sponsored) is "Truth Social". It takes up the entire top half of the screen, and had a 2.3 star rating. The second result is "Bluesky", with a 1.4 star rating. Truth Social has small text below it that says "contains ads". The Bluesky app does not have this text. Bluesky lists 10M+ Downloads. This stat is absent from the Truth Social advertisement above it.

As I go to install Bluesky on my new phone, this is the search result I get.

This is quite something. I'm not opposed to getting outside of my bubble, to be clear. Interesting, though, that the sponsored app is now *above* the thing I explicitly searched for.

I'll definitely be reading the article in full, it'll just have to wait until I've got more ability to focus. I know these issues are rarely cut
and dried, but it still seeps pretty apalling to quibble over a tax bill instead of attempting to make restitution for past wrongs.

I don't know what country you're in so I can't really give advice, just sympathy, and add "sanitation" to that list (garbage collection). Dirty job and hard work, but where I live the pay is decent. Also: mail carriers (but they're on strike here all the time, so. Should tell you something).
