He was watching the streets from the shadows. So far the city seems quiet tonight.

“Fantastic.” He pulled out his sai, twirling them before getting into a defensive stance.

“I got time, why? Somethin’ ya need?”

He glanced him over carefully, the guy didn’t seem like a threat. Definitely wasn’t like the usually types he was used to dealing with on these streets.

“What do you mean ‘points’?”

He crossed his arms unamused and maybe very slightly confused as he genuinely had no idea what this guy was talking about.

“Brave or those up to no good. Take ya pick.” He shrugged. “So which category do you seem to fit into?” He looked him over carefully.

“Yeah that’ll work.”

He looked it over. “Ain’t exactly the Ritz, but it’ll do for now until we can find the others.” He sat down leaning back against the wall.

“Topside ain’t exactly ideal for us Mikey.” He paused blinking when he sounded like Leo for a second.

“Probably better we find a sewer pipe to call home for the night. Stick to what we know.”

“Pretty sure that ain’t what he said knucklehead.” He rolled his eyes. “C’mon guess we betta find a place to crash in…wherever the heck we are.”

“Love how that’s your biggest crisis right now Mikey. We’re stuck here and ya really thinkin’ with your stomach right now?”

“Oh yeah? Name one thing noisier than you Mikey?”

He arched a brow looking over to him.

“Ain’t that bad?”

He turned around and rubbed his face.

“I’m stuck in a room with you…this is my nightmare.”

He grumbled as they walked.

“Fantastic we’re stuck here. Ain’t no way to get back.”

He let his head hit the nearest wall.

“Did ya even tell Don or Leo before jumpin’ in?” Though he asked, he had a feeling he already knew the answer.

“Mikey?” He arched a brow.

“Ya ended up here too?” A rare look of genuine surprise to see his youngest brother.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” His eyes narrowed.

He arched a brow. “Oh yeah? And I’m freakin’ Santa Claus.” He shot back, eying her carefully, waiting for her to make the next move so he could counter.

His eyes widened slightly surprised by her strength he hadn’t anticipated that.

“What the heck are ya? Freakin’ Wolverine?”

“Woah easy before you break a nail lady!”
He smirked jumping to the side to avoid her attack.

He dodged quickly, years of training he knew how to avoid sloppy attacks.

He returned with a kick to her side.

“Now ya just embarassin’ yourself.”

“Aww did I make the wittle puppy mad?” He taunted as he put himself in a defensive stance.

“Oh,ho,ho how cute ya got jokes,” he flipped his sai as he was trying and failing to show restraint.

“Y’know dogs can’t be walkin’ around without a leash.” He shot back.

He knew the implications of it, that it meant stuff could get dangerous again…real dangerous.

“Was out for a ride, some foot clan creeps on bikes showed up. Took me awhile to shake ‘em but I did. Cycle got pretty roughed up though.”

He started to the entrance to what was their garage they had well hidden.

“Think they’re operating near the docks again. That’s where they started following

His jaw clenched as it struck a nerve.

“You just walk out of a fuckin’ furry convention?” He shot back, irritated.

“Or you’ll what?” He stepped out into the light.

“Choose ya next words carefully, might not go the way ya think.”

Raph jumped down into the alleyway, his arm reaching out of the darkness to grab hers.

“Hey! That’s enough.” He warned, the tip of his sai glinting in the light.

“Beat it pal,” he gestured to the person.

He glanced her over. “So a mutant? Huh. Cool.” He smirked slightly.

“I’d be careful out here if I were you. New York doesn’t exactly have a reputation for safe. Especially at night.”

“Name’s Raphael.” He looked down at her, arching a brow.

“What about you…uh. What exactly are you..?” He looked her over more thoroughly. She definitely didn’t look like a mutant, least not any that he encountered.
