Stay strong ๐Ÿ’ช I do that shit all the time too. Last summer I scolded my back by forgetting to close a thermocup with freshly brewed tea in my backpack, then bending over and pouring it onto my waist. Then next day same place, time and situation. Had no skin on a spot the size of my palm.

Much the same. I watched 2 times before I could reliably tell between buildings and landscape. The fact that it all looks cool altogether helped me watch. Blue lights/steam on the buildings helped to recognize them better than edging. I believe edging stroke should have equal thickness everywhere.

Trying the obvious: spawn cooldowns. Like almost every other RTS.

Open questionโ€”what happens when you're holding "emit" but the cooldown isn't ready yet? Queue it? Ignore it? Visual feedback?
