Chicago police are on scene outside the Chicago Theater for at least two people shot. Loads of cops in the downtown area and loads of young people standing off with police. Seen some officers with their rifles out.

Update took me 1.5 hours to get from the harbor to my home 2.5 miles north away…1.4 of those hours were just getting from the peninsula to Lawrence.

Just as I was typing this CPD just got on scene and seem to be doing much needed traffic management. I was afraid people were going to be driving through the park itself before long (I’ve seen this happen on LSD before on a major traffic jam).
