I’m CPR certified!

This feels like the beginning of Covid when most of us were like, this is really bad, and a small group in power are on tv telling us to use bleach and it will last 2 weeks.

I canceled my WP subscription and signed up for the paper version for our local newspaper. This is me trying to take care of my mental health so that I choose when to read the news, and not my phone.

I’m exhausted but hoping they will remember these snow days for the rest of their lives.

Yesterday the snow wasn’t great for sledding so I showed my son how to build ramps with snow and I ran down the street with the kids in the sled and they flew over the ramps. The neighbor kids saw this and came out and I did it over and over again for the whole block.

At 8am, my kids wanted to play in the snow, so out we went. Then they wanted to sled, but the hill in our neighborhood ends on a busy street and I was worried. So I grabbed 2 sleds and pulled them 1 mile to the park with the amazing hill. On my way there, a woman on skis cheered me on.

And they don’t do social media so they don’t see any of this.

The people in my life who voted for him don’t know yet. The media they watch are not talking about it at all.

Things I’m doing for my mental health this year: running a marathon and weight training, reading 100 books, learning to play Christmas music on the piano, and continue learning about gardening.

If anyone is in the market for a new electric car, we just got rid of our old one for reasons and changed to the Volvo ex30 and I love it so much! It’s a really great little car. The big test will be if our giant lab can fit in the back!

I love this building! Excited to go here when the restaurant opens!

Husband took kids to wrestling and I’m cleaning the kitchen to Radiohead and all is good.

I went home for the holidays and wanted to go to a bookstore and there was absolutely nothing in the area. I have so many options where I live now, plus libraries. It was a huge culture shock.

I am sooooooo excited about this ornament! We started working on this in July and I love it so much and can’t wait to hang it on the three!

I made breakfast that both kids ate and enjoyed and I will be riding that high all day.

My 7 yr old asked for a cd for Christmas and I was so confused and kept asking following up questions like what does it look like? Where does it go? How does he even know what a cd is?
