Was at my sister’s house and the alarm went off on my dad’s phone which she’s had since he passed. For some reason, he set an alarm for the mornings to go off at 9:08am. He passed away at 9:08am last Tuesday… talk about spooky!

Also while my sister is doing chemo for breast cancer and is not even quite 1/4 of the way through her treatment. 🙃

The one week timeline between your dad needing a chest x-ray and a blood test - to having cancer in his lung, on his kidneys, and on his spine with likely only a couple of months left to live is crazy. Love this for me.

Exactly. I felt a little bit sad flattening them and chucking them out but there’s literally no point in holding onto it all.

A flat lay of all the Apple boxes I’ve accumulated over the years. Ranging from a iPod Nano from ~2006 right through to an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Includes a MacBook, iPad, HomePod mini, and 3 Apple TVs as well. They’ve now all been flattened and thrown out 🥲

Cleaned out the spare room. Discovered these relics.

Love how Swifties have been begging for something new for MONTHS and Taylor’s literally just gone “lol nope but you can listen to all my old stuff again”. And being Swifties, we’re obviously eating it up 🤣🤡

I hope this very forward thinking gentleman got home with a dry head and dry feet. I really wanted to ask why he had 3 produce paper bags handy.

Went to the Black Ferns game this afternoon and within 15 minutes before leaving the house we skulled 4.4 standard 6% drinks each. Half a can of an espresso martini and 2 Hard Rated cans. Was a fun first half 🤪

I’m torn between feeling schadenfreude toward the hiring manager and also feeling a bit kicked in the guts that I wasn’t even considered over someone who they let go so quickly.

Also trying to decide if I even bother applying again after the way the application went last time…

Applied for a role internally at work a few months ago. Had to chase the hiring manager at the time only to find out they’d decided on external candidates without even giving me an interview (due to experience apparently).

One of the new hires just got let go within their 90 day trial.
