Lesson to Canadian mayors: you can stand up to premiers. They’ve got the power but you have the people.

Every compromise is more dead & injured people of all sorts. And it doesn’t matter, Ford still banned them. So stop compromising & take a real stand. All this does is make drivers feel more emboldened to drive dangerously.

There is a need for education - no one knows what the guidelines/rules for safety are so people go as fast as they want in the sidewalks and bike paths etc.

It's just dishonest and malicious gov't that continually puts lives at risk. Ontario doesn't care.

Demo on Saturday. Take to the streets. It’s the only way. Same will be done for the bike lanes when the time comes.

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1965: 20-1

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1990: 75-1

CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 280-to-1

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

Remember this before you order your next pumpkin spice latte.

Ruth Asawa’s Life and Legacy, in Both Art and Education Marilyn Chase’s new biography sheds light on Asawa’s contributions to San Francisco’s public schools and its artistic community at large.

Delicate yet monumental, diaphanous yet sharp,Β Ruth Asawa’s wire sculptures ask that viewers experience them as more than what they first encounter.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.Β

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

My daughters are thrilled that after 21 years in parliament I am not running in this election.
They say its time to pick up my style game in carrying on the work of the resistance.
I will save these shoes for the upcoming @grievousangels104.bsky.social gig at the Horseshoe Tavern June 1.
