Right. I mean I’m a complete sicko so I’m following it, but if you try summarizing it to one normal friend you realize the situation quickly.

The thing is most books don’t sell many copies anyway and most normal people do not care about this whole fiasco.

Reports of renewed ICE activity in Nashville raise concerns - Nashville Banner Multiple reports of ICE activity, with people taken in unmarked vehicles, in Nashville cause alarm and uncertainty among immigrant communities.

As ICE activity appeared to ramp up around Nashville on Wednesday, local rapid response groups raced to keep up with incoming messages.

Getting clear information about what had happened or was happening — who was taken and by whom — was complicated, given the federal agency’s tactics.

Nichols' last statement in part: "To the people I've harmed, I'm sorry. To my family, know that I love you."

Karen Pulley's brother in law also read a statement on behalf of the family. He said they take no pleasure in the taking of a life but that the family has waited 37 years for justice and this is a start.

Media witnesses are speaking now. Nichols' spiritual advisor was in the execution chamber with him, reading scripture and reciting prayers. Witnesses describe Nichols' sighing, groaning and his breath quickening before it slowed and he gradually started to turn purple. Time of death 10:39 a.m.

No official announcement from TDOC yet but people have started coming out of the prison, indicating that the execution is done. Waiting not for the press conference with witnesses and Karen Pulley family to begin.

The execution is supposed to begin at 10am. A group of media witnesses is inside as usual. The rest of us are outside in the parking lot, where a press conference will take place after. We’re told that Nichols’ family members won’t speak during that but will have the chance to after if they want.

One of the many reasons AI can't produce good writing is it can't hate its own writing. It can't think to itself "Maybe I'm illiterate" during the writing process. And that's essential

Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

Evictions on the rise as Nashville addresses a housing crisis - Nashville Banner A mother and daughter in Nashville know first-hand the challenges that come with evictions. They made it through, and there are assets available to help others.

In Nashville, more than 1,000 people face losing their home each month. Getting evicted can be a huge blow to safety and mental health, especially if you are young when it happens. But the city is working harder than most to fight it.
