Jeg reagerer også på overskriften. Hvordan kan en så upopulær politiker gir håp? Liker heller ikke dekning (i Norge også) av meningsmålinger som politikk - de har ingen verdi når det er 3 år til neste valg!

Another thing to note about this is that it is from 1962, the year of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The feeling of incoming nuclear catastrophe was at its peak, explains some of the "what's the point of it all" elements of the script.

Directed by Ken Russell too, which explains the weirdness. The script by Hawkes has not aged well, to put it euphemistically.

Went to listen to Anders Högberg talk about heritage futures at Riksantikvaren. It was a bit of a shock to realize how little of this research and modern thoughts about heritage have filtered down to the decision-making level. Concerning given a new heritage law is being written.

In the election campaign here in Norway, I was offered a flyer but I said that I couldn't vote as I wasn't a citizen yet. The guy was flabbergasted when I said that I had been waiting 26 months for them to deal with my application - and this was someone who was a minister in the previous government!
