Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Lib Dem leader, Lord Menzies Campbell. Campbell was an important figure in opposition to the Iraq War and a great voice for a fairer taxation system. His legacy will live on for years to come. 🧡

Words cannot begin to describe how I feel right now following the news about Kerry Jenkins. Kerry taught me how to be a campaigner. Without her I wouldn’t be in to politics right now. Her guidance helped me become the person I am today. Her presence will be deeply missed. 💔

Great to help out at #MoseleyFarmersMarket talking to local residents about their concerns.

The current train system is one of the best systems in the world. 12 months ago they were striking. #LabourIsWorking

It became clear very quickly that there was a high level of concern from local residents on this one. Lots of misinformation out on social media but the level of concern did show the clear need for the council to engage far more widely ahead of such schemes & proposals.

West Moseley LTN update:
Yesterday, Cllr Lisa Trickett and I met with Council officers and expressed concerns about this scheme and the delayed delivery of the Moseley and Kings Heath LTN. Today, the Cabinet Member has instructed officers to end this consultation and not to proceed with the trial.
