Went to an amazing warehouse sale filled with comics in RI today. There was so much I couldn't look at it all but I did find lots of great comics.

Smudge and her sister Splash have been with us for a couple of weeks and they are having a great time, but they want to get to their forever home. They are 6 mths old & very playful. Splash is shyer than her sister but she does love attention once she gets comfortable.

More comics for #crimecomicsmonth I read a Ms Tree collection, and it was excellent. @relativelygeeky.bsky.social turned me on to this character & series on his podcast. I've found it difficult to track down issues in the bins so it was nice when Titan released these collected editions.

Here is another fun comic I've read this month for #romancecomicsmonth. Teen Confessions #69 1971 Charlton comics. The stories were fun, the best one being the cover Story Awakening. I love the logo and colors used on this cover.

This issue of First Love - #77 - Harvey comics, 1957 is one of the better #romancecomicsmonth comics that I've read this month. The stories had real depth and were not boiler plate will she or won't she basic stories. The sexism and misogyny was also dialed back a bit.

From Beyond The Unknown, a great issue of sci-fi reprints including stories about psychic apes keeping humans as pets, and a being 150 million years old using a brontosaurus brain to try and take over the world. #scificomicsmonth

I know these were gimmicky releases, but the green color they achieved I found to be revolting, it looked like it was spoiled, and not a a fun gross way.

Picked up these issues of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea at a show recently for $1 each. They are in great shape, with excellent art and colors. The stories were a lot of fun and a real treat to read. #oldcomics #adventurecomics #goldkey

Heavy Arms is complete. This is a model I wanted to build after doing several others from the Gundam Wing series. I could have done better on the detail work but it was fun and I'm pleased with how it turned out. #gunpla #gundam #gundamwing

I've been having fun, experimenting with detailing Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. This one was pretty basic with the mono red body, but I do think the black lines make it look a little better. #hotwheels #custom

This fantastic "homage" to Stan Sakai's own cover of Albedo #2, is probably the closest I'll ever get to Usagi Yojimbo's 1st appearance. And this is an amazing cover. #usagiyojimbo #stansakai

It just needs a topcoat but the Guncannon is done. This model was a ton of fun to put together. I really like how sturdy it feels too. This was my first with a lot of stickers too. Took a bit but I got the hang of putting them on. #gunpla #gundam

Excellent Haunted Tank and OSS stories in this issue of G.I. Combat on Sunday morning. I picked this up yesterday at a good show in Boxboro. Bonus points because it's the last issue I needed to complete my DC Bicentennial series. #warcomicsmonth
