Chris Richards

The replica Heinkel cockpit which I helped design and build earlier in the year for ‘The Machine Gunners’.
Drafted to 1.25 scale, based on original measurements, the plan was rendered to 3D in Sketchup.
The set was then scratchbuilt in-house.

An unusual project for a friend of mine very interested in myths and legends!
This is a 1600s pamphlet cover I made, for the fictional ‘Bygleswade (Biggleswade) Mole’ - a creature said to be, several gatepoasts high, and as lengthy as a haycart.

Drawn ‘in character’, it shows day-to-day life at RAF Abingdon in 1941.
It even features an appearance by Sergeant James Herriot himself!

First post!!!
Some examples of ephemera I created for murder mystery short ‘The Du Pont Engagement’ earlier this year.
All postmarks, stamps, billheads, and handwriting styles were based on original 1920s examples, either in my own collection or found elsewhere.
Sadly none appear on screen!
