Not many people are talking about the children being harmed by #ICELawlessness but it's important to talk about.

What's happening to these kids is being paid for by our tax dollars.

We're paying for the torture of children.

I know this is beyond grim, but we must let people know about this!

The gratuitous violence being inflicted on Chicago would have been anathema during the U.S. military's counterinsurgency operations in Iraq.

And the "threats" Bovino claims CBP and ICE agents face there pales in comparison to Iraq.

They're weekend warriors with a sadistic streak.

Trump administration ends annual U.S. hunger report The final U.S. hunger report will be released in October.

"Rather than use my complete control over the actions of the USDA as the leader of the executive branch to make the report on hunger less political and more accurate, I'll just cancel all future reporting on hunger." ~ DJT (Paraphrased)

(As in: "Stop testing so much and there will be less COVID.")

This would be a great thing for Alabama if former senator Doug Jones ran for governor.

The man has legacy of being a hero for people in need of help.

Hell, Doug Jones saved my life, story for another day.

The MAHA-Fueled Rise of Natural Family Planning

They weren't terrorists. They weren't cartel members. They had no fentanyl. And they weren't coming here.

They were transporting cocaine. To Trinidad.

Most importantly, they were human beings.

And they were murdered.

By the government of the United States of America.

What Comes Next After the 2025 Elections Read more here.

History has taught us that this is precisely when Donald Trump is most dangerous β€” and when Republicans turn to voter suppression, election subversion and worse. With the 2026 midterm elections less than a year away, Trump is already plotting his next moves.

Here’s what we all need to prepare for.

I'm Canadian.

Our airports are open.
We feed our poor.
Everyone has healthcare.
We have allies.
We don't stab friends in the back.
Our leadership is sane and thoughtful.
We don't snatch people off the streets.
We have rule of law for everyone.

Why would anyone think we'd want to be a 51st state?

Newsom: "Think about the state of mind of the VP. How do you square the circle when you go to a prayer breakfast? Old testament, new testament. What's the fundamental thing that connects John to Matthew to Proverbs? It's this notion of hunger, feeding the poor. It's central to advancing God's will."

Ask him why so many air traffic controllers are retiring at once. Ask him if it has anything to do with Reagan firing 11K union strikers in 1981 and having to replace them all at once. Ask him how the mass firings this year will impact us the same way 40 years from now. Ask him, Jake.

So at the beginning of Nov Congress would have been paid, unless they specifically had their pay check held.

I would argue they should donate it because they haven’t worked.

Maybe a good question for reporters to catalog?

The current GOP lie is that they’re going to replace Obamacare with something better.

Bullshit. In all of the majorities they’ve had since Obamacare passed, they’ve never once tried to replace it.

They’ve tried to repeal it a whole bunch, but never actually make it better.

Government shutdowns are hard on federal employees.

Those getting paid (exempt) are either doing work of several or bored (some need others to do their whole job).

Those who are excepted are paying for gas/transit, childcare, etc. out of savings or racking up debt.

Newsom: They want to bring us back to a pre-1960s, maybe 1860s world. And you’re seeing it not just on voting rightsβ€”you’re seeing it on civil rights, on women’s rights, on LGBTQ rights. They’re censoring historic facts. They’re on a banning bingeβ€”Bud Light and Big Bird

Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.
