He’s trying to gain some credibility before he goes all maga.
His past positions are, of course, the direction he wants the Fed to go.

MartinΕ―'s Madrigals for violin and viola are another set of beautiful pieces. I had the honor of producing and engineering a recording of them for Michael Zaretsky and Viktor Romanul in Boston. Check them out if you like the concertos.

As someone who helps run two towns in Massachusetts, I can say definitively that the Fair Share Amendment has helped our communities tremendously! If the Feds won’t tax fairly, it is incumbent on the states to do so.

Well, I have read most of MMT. Learn how to write clear posts.

I still don’t understand your position as your posts aren’t clear. Are you in agreement with this article or not?

13.10.2025 19:27 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Old article and tired conclusion. MMT, like all economic lenses, has much to offer. Instead of generalizing and dismissing it out of hand, it would be more frutiful to give specific examples of what you disagree with.

13.10.2025 18:22 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

True, it is using the positive side of the lens. It is definitely not implement normative side of MMT.

The reality is this current administration is implementing MMT but for the wealthy. They are advocating interest rate cuts at full employment. Deficits will remain through tax cuts… which is all a redistribution upwards.

He’s a β€œJacksonite” - he prefers bank failures and depressions at the expense and hardship of the people.

He’s not worth debating.

Yes indeed. We are reducing foreign policy to economic threats and punishment, and subsidizing ideology through election interference. Funny how DOGE can look the other way on such blatant fraud, waste and especially abuse.

This is great because it's not just a liberal defense of central bank independence - first, a revelation about Trump's will to absolute power legitimized by a Supreme Court he put together

Money is Not a Medium of Exchange by Jens Martignoni With this brief provocation, Jens Martignoni develops a suggestion first put forth in an essay published in the International Journal of Community Currency Research (IJCCR). Ther…

Is money really a "medium of exchange"? This article challenges one of the most fundamental concepts in economics, arguing that we should see money as a collective project and a means of payment guaranteed by a community.

The Unofficial Lives of Public Money by Will Beaman Recent Money on the Left proposals for endogenous credit campaignsβ€”like Unis or Blue Bondsβ€”often run headlong into an unspoken but deeply rooted distinction between β€œofficial” and β€œu…

"By holding the ... two faces of sovereignty together, we can see how rogue and publicly irresponsible currencies cut across the official/unofficial divide."

The Supreme Court never said money equals speech. The Citizens United ruling said government can't restrict spending money specifically on disseminating political speech. Those are not the same. The vast majority of money is not spent spreading expression. Treating them as the same isn't helping.
