There are a lot of resources online for anybody that wants to learn and improve, so calling artists gatekeepers makes no sense. If you don’t like learning something new, if you don’t enjoy taking your time finishing a piece, if you don’t care about other artists at all, then maybe art is not for you

AI evangelists say artists are gatekeeping art, and are proud of how fast AI can regurgitate anything they want. But that only shows to me how they are totally missing the point, real artists enjoy the process, they like drawing, learning and experimenting, it’s not about how fast you can do it
