Excellent final season premiere that delivered on the confrontation w/ Iron オールマイト, who gave mad Joker vibes! The show got me again w/ a most surprising cavalry AND a completely unexpected yet appreciated spotlight on the two most underrated characters.

#SurvivalOfTheThickest “The Category is Love, Bitch.”: Uf! This one was rough. But in more of an abundant way for Mavis, cuz both Trey and Luca are solid. So far, she would be well off going either way.

Thank goodness for Marley’s hilarious revelations that mitigated the romantic drama.

#Wednesday “This Means Woe”: An epic season finale with a jaw-dropping revelation to the entire Addams Family lore! It was so unexpected yet made so much sense, it rocked me to my core. A well-crafted season to a spectacular series. Hella excited to see how the next season tops the first and second!

#KaijuNo8 “Fortitude 9.8”: Oh snap! He’s gon be her healthier father-figure, won’t he? Fantastic turn of events. Didn’t see it coming, but the math maths.

Her real father seems to be cut from the same cloth as エンデヴァー.

And I theorize and suspect ミナ is also a kaiju. 👀

#Wednesday “Woe Me the Money”: Fantastic penultimate that tied together threads cooking in the background and placed a needed spotlight on the Nightshades’ prowess and value. Thrilled to see how this season wraps!

#KaijuNo8 “Joining Up!”: Great to get acquainted w/ the officers. Love that their hero is a woman, & how it manifests in a genuinely respectful & non-pervy way. Also dig the Vice-Captain now despite his aggressive bowl cut. HIs forewarning made me feel bad for characters I predict will soon perish.

#Wednesday “Woe Thyself”: Freaky Friday on a Wednesday! Pretty consequential episode for what appeared to start off as a side adventure. Bruno’s revelation and Filipino-ness made me sit up! 😀 It made me cheer and also broke my heart, mostly for the butchered pronunciation. 😅

#KaijuNo8 “Revenge Match”: This has some of the best elements of ナルト, MHA, OPM, Chainsaw Man, & AoT! Gotta love カフカ’s underdog positioning & resolve. Good to meet the rest of his eventual team & cast. The dudes look like pop idols. 😄 Glad they already showed a diff side to キコル besides a-hole mode.

#Wednesday “Hyde and Woe Seek”: Excellent identity reveal. I thought she would be Wednesday’s aunt.

Exciting return! Very happy to see a character whose demise felt unfair.

Extraordinarily spooky sets! Thank goodness for big budgets.

I’m warming to the idea of Bianca and Ajax becoming a thing.

#KaijuNo8 “The Kaiju Who Defeats Kaiju”: Pure hilarity + legit action and suspense. Only two episodes in and I’m already obsessed. Being an おじさん myself, I really love how カフカ is 32. So relatable in his plight and endeavors.

Very cool yet lamentable how a big part of the appeal of WEDNESDAY feels like the X-Men or New Mutants show we never got.

#Wednesday “If These Woes Could Talk”: omg The biggest mayhem unleashed, by far, with mass casualties! 😱 I love how so wrong I was.

If this is a taste of what Fester’s series will be like, I can’t WAIT for the horror and mischief he’ll cause across the world.

Believe the hype! 😱 The premise, comedy, setup, suspense, environment design, art, action, characters, animation quality … everything delivered. I love that the lead is in his late 20s or early 30s … rare in stories like this that typically center adolescents.

So good. I’ve yet to be disappointed by any of the prequels to Unute’s story. This focused on his dealings with Genghis Khan and the cult that reshaped the world with B at the center of and unbeknownst to their manipulations and machinations.

#Wednesday “Here We Woe Again”: Where are Yoko and the Fangs?? I was hoping her role would be expanded.😩

In spite of that, I’m hella excited for Bianca’s prominence and of course … Bruno!! Filipino werewolf in the house! 🙌🏼🐺
