The Point Loop at Ken Reid Conservation Area is a beautiful trail that winds through the forest and along the shores of Sturgeon Lake and McLaren Marsh. In the winter, the trail is covered in a blanket of snow and is perfect for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or hiking.

Amazing, how quickly the landscape changes, seemingly overnight. The waters of Sturgeon Lake starting to get covered with a skim of ice and snow, while the trails at Ken Reid Conservation Area becoming more pronounced against the starker tones of winter.
