I’m a lil tipsy but walking in the door and hearing “MAMA MAMA” is quite literally the best thing I’ve ever heard

Did my best to come up with fun activities for girlie and I on this rainy day. We painted & baked and decorated cookies.

Clearly …like obviously my mom deserves a day off from childcare but then it means that I actually don’t get a day off

Does it make me a bad parent for actually despising holidays I have off but my husband doesn’t which makes me solo childcare for 10+ hours

My husband is being an ass about having to listen to TS - which I’m not surprised….but thanks for the reminder that I can’t like things or have differing interests

My husband told me he didn’t know what delulu meant and he thought it was just a funny sound

I think our dog was like $750 earlier this year. They quoted higher saying if she needed any extractions it would be closer to $1k. Even after spending that money she still has stinko breath so not worth it

I have one day a week where I don’t have my support staff person….and every week on that one day I am humbled as to how completely inept I now am without support staff

Everyone listen to Mr. Mom in my husband’s honor today. He’s solo parenting while I get to go to the ravens game.

This is my favorite parenting hack … box of magnets for kiddo to walk back and forth putting them on the fridge or dishwasher. I’m getting to peacefully read and drink a glass of wine.

Today was already a rough working mom morning leaving baby girl when she cried…only for my mom to text me and saying girlie keeps pointing at pictures of me saying “mama” and crying 😭😭😭

Mommy time out was very successful. Approximately 5 minutes. Got to rest and toddler returned with a somewhat better attitude.

Toddler got put in mommy time out (was mean to mommy - hitting and pulling hair) so now she isn’t allowed to interact with me for a small amount of time …. And honestly this is like a vacation

My husband and toddler are drinking a gallon of milk every 2 days. I am so sick of buying milk all the time. At this point I need to just buy a cow.

Like kinda nice but also kinda not. I’m still a relatively young professional. I still look for mentorship and guidance. Which isn’t really necessarily the case in a professional sense with my work bestie who I hang with on the regular outside of work

Learning I’m getting transferred to have my work bestie be my new boss has me kinda 🙃🙃🙃

Went to the post work usual stomping grounds for happy hour. I never open a tab. For some reason tonight I decided to open tab. And then promptly forgot to close it. 🙃🙃🙃

Toddler made the tiniest attempt at eating dinner. Melted down in the high chair. As soon as she was free she dragged me over to the pantry for the brownie I promised her after dinner. 😐😐

Yes. Give them already cut, in a vase, with flower food or it’s just another chore
