Puhun itse mieluummin tasa-arvosta, koska “feminismi” on nykyään ladattu niin raskaalla kuormalla ettei sen kantaminen ole enää edes tervettä. Varmasti feminismistä löytyy paljon terveitä asioita – ajalta ennen sen lataamista ääriajattelulla ja ylilyönneillä.

Here in Spain, and in Gibraltar, there are many saunas, but only a few allow löyly. There’s a good one in Fuengirola, Hirsisauna. In Gib, I go to E1 Spa sauna, which is otherwise fine, but no löyly.

I think the two most interesting results of the Baltic Sea NATO meeting yesterday were the following:
- the 8 countries agreed to put together a group of legal experts to find ways based on the law of the sea to deal with the hybrid warfare in the Baltic Sea
- further close EU-NATO cooperation

It’s kind of sad or even awkward that it has to be spelled out like this in the U.S.A. In other countries, people would have thanked and said something beautiful to express gratitude and celebrate friendship. In the U.S.A., you have to explain it like this ‘in clear terms.’ It feels so unrefined.

Trump is supported by untouchable oligarchies and influential business interests, including fossil fuels, weapons, gambling, and deregulation-focused industries. He also aligns with environmental exploitation, sweatshops, data abuse, predatory finance, and tax evasion—essentially, big money.

Even the theoretically highest form of intelligence, of any form anywhere in the universe, can never achieve more than locally optimal deployment of resources available to its operator. That means sustainable development, because value is future of life and it will optimize for that. 5/5

Take, for example, the traveling salesman problem (or any problem). If we know the best solution, we know what to do—optimally—but we still need to execute it, assuming we still like what we see. We save the difference in cost between the search and trial vs. the optimal solution. 4/5

However, I quickly scanned through some accounts on the list, and some had their following count only in the 100s. I only wish to block the really awful ones with counts in the high 1000s, to avoid flushing any babies with the bathwater.

There’s a sudden increase in mass-following accounts on Bluesky, who are adding thousands or even hundreds of thousands accounts.

I would like to block accounts who are following more than, say, 5000 (perhaps a configurable limit) from following me. They don’t appear genuinely interested.

Weird how the headlines and reports keep focusing on this being a Chinese ship... But only seem to occasionally mention the reality that it is commanded by a Russian Captain (as if this was a mere trivial detail & an afterthought)

Imperialismi kiteytyy lopulta diktaattorin itsekkään ahneuden ruokkimiseen, jossa “kansalliset edut” toimivat vain savuverhona henkilökohtaiselle vallanhalulle ja historian glorifioinnille. Kaikki perustuu harhaan omasta oikeudesta hallita ja käyttää muiden resursseja oman asemansa pönkittämiseksi.

Empatian puute ja dehumanisointi ovat imperialistisen vallan ja niiden eliittien keinoja. He haluavat alistaa muut ilman moraalista estettä, koska toisten näkeminen vähempiarvoisina oikeuttaa heidän resurssiensa ja työnsä hyväksikäytön.

Kateus ja kilpailunhalu ovat voimakkaita motivaattoreita resurssien ja alueiden valtaamisessa.

Kostonhimo voi “oikeuttaa” aggressiivisen imperialismin. Halutaan palauttaa menetetty maine, alueet tai kunnia, menneisyyden loisto.

Tämä tunne vetoaa nostalgiaan ja ihanteeseen “suuresta kansakunnasta”.
