05.08.2025 22:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 023. I see the artists I admire as fellow workers and storytellers, we all se what is beautiful or important or interesting in this worls, and share it. And that gives me a feeling of belonging, even ethics, humanity... it's hard to explain, but I promise it makes sense in my head, at least!

22. I love oil paintings and woodcut, although there is a long time I don't work with these. For daily life/sketches, good old pencils are splendid!
05.08.2025 11:17 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Aaaaaaawww so cool you took the time to make a search! GRACIAS :D
Yes, I have a friend here in Brazil that loves Ultraman and Godzilla, I love when we manage to meet and talk. Also it's not unusual to find the casual enjoyer, and in older generations.
Speaking of 1966 :D

And, well, Tsuburaya's channel adds subs in Brazilian Portuguese for a reason :D

Oh my, so cool! When I start Kamen Rider I'll try to be vocal about it here in Bluesky so we can talk more :D. Or should be I vocal about Mebius? As you recognized the AMIGO~
Same for Ultraman Rising, still need to watch it, aaaa (1/2)
Shaded drawing of an anthropomorphic sphynx cat drinking a strawberry boba tea and holding a mobile phone, wearing a flower patterned shirt and light beige pants, looking away. Background in pink and teal halftones.

RATZILLA!!
he's here for your biggest and tastiest cheeses
So... I'm far from a specialist, but I do enjoy a lot these series. What are your faves? Feel free to pop and chat about it! (3/3)
04.08.2025 23:16 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0+Ultraman, Ultraseven, and Return of Ultraman (almost finishing, but doing slowly because it's so GOOD, by now my fav). These aired in Brazil too, but before I was born/when I was too smol
I also started Mebius and I'm watching Omega, enjoying both a lot + (2/3)
Yes :D!!!
I watched lots of Jiraya, Changemen, Jaspion and Kamen Rider Black as a kid (can't recall much of it LOL, need to rewatch). Tokusatsu was part of the childhood of generations here in Brazil.
Currently I'm on a BIG Ultraman watch:+ (1/3)
21. A very obscure Japanese free software called AzPainter! I started to use it because it is very light and I had hardware constrains (still have at some point, I work under a humble desktop running Linux), and to be frank I appreciate the lightness of it. I use Krita and GIMP eventually too.
04.08.2025 22:58 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 020. Usually with music :D
04.08.2025 22:48 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 019. I admire! I like to make artist friends so we can cheer for each other all the time :D
04.08.2025 22:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 018. Yes, although I don't believe "improving" is something completely linear. We learn some things, "forget" others, change, and the periods of rest, the plateaus, are equally important in learning (and enjoying!) art-making.
04.08.2025 22:32 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 017. YES! New ideas are welcome for this. Different species, outfits, backgrounds. It takes conscious time and effort, many drawings, but it is totally worth it.
04.08.2025 22:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 016. Some animals, like rats (although I just learned to draw them well after keeping them as pets!), some birds, and horses (yeah, horses! But, again, it's because I practiced A LOT!)
04.08.2025 22:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Aaaawwww, thank you ๐ฅฐ
04.08.2025 21:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 015. Well, human faces again! I haven't find a way yet to make these shapes as expressive and characteristic as the animal ones.
04.08.2025 20:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 014. Currently I'm working to improve in backgrounds; last year it was figure drawing, and I'm still polishing it.
04.08.2025 19:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 013. I think it's been a few years I do draw at least some days a week. It's a good pace. My higher was to draw every single day, but I think at least 1-2 days of rest per week the ideal. And my "minimum" was to spend some weeks maybe without drawing. Drawing was always part of my life.
04.08.2025 19:44 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 012. It depends how do you count "how much". I'd say some days to a week or two, because I do think resting time between steps is essential to pick details to fix. Some drawings are made faster, some take way longer, but "some days" is my usual.
04.08.2025 19:41 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Loose colored portrait sketch of a grumpy guanaco with a very stylish 2000s hair, it is supposed to be a furry version of George Ikaruga from "Ultraman Mebius".
11. Oh my I have LOTS of sketches, it would take me hours if I wished to use rational thinking to choose, so let's go for "the most recent one" SO have this humble George Ikaruga as a GUANACO.
AMIGO~~~
#ClassicPear it seems~~~
10. I very rarely make collabs, but I enjoy the idea! It's a way to learn more abou how other artists work and see the world.
04.08.2025 18:38 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 09. I like both - for self expression, and to help others express themselves and tell their stories.
04.08.2025 18:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 08. Yes! But not in a sense "I'm perfect and I can do anything efortless", but "I'm in a good path, I have joy in what I do, and I can always improve!"
04.08.2025 18:33 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 07. Professional AND fun! And let's be honest, "for fun" is never "just". I love to see people express themselves. It's important!
04.08.2025 18:26 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 06. Human faces. I try do draw them very rarely, but I'm really bad at it. I can translate a face to a animal shape, down to details, but I can't draw it completely human.
