06.08.2025 14:19 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The replacement for a proper, clean RSS feed listing changes in the Stripe API is apparently… a newsletter?!
go.stripe.global/dev-digest
Let's see if kill-the-newsletter.com is working.
Also a lot of companies are going great lengths to remove #RSS feeds from their blogs, although the used software brings these feeds by default.
Looking at you, @meilisearch.com and @bellsoft.bsky.social.
#WarOnInformation
FFS, I hate this "War on #RSS" that a lot of companies seem to wage.
Latest culprit: Stripe removing the RSS feed for their API changelog. 😠

The image shows a male, looking directly at the camera, holding a plastic bag containing what appears to be a pair of human eyes and some bloody tissue. His expression is one of shock, disgust, or perhaps contemplation. The background is blurry, suggesting an interior space that is dimly lit. The overall tone is dark and unsettling.

✔️Scrub/filter data
✔️Route to multiple #backends
✔️Generate signals
✔️Debug effectively

@awscloud.bsky.social Any plans to publish an official checksum or even signature for the AWS global certificate bundle?
This would increase the trust into the downloaded artifact *a lot*.
The fact that #AWS returns two different certificate bundles at truststore.pki.rds.amazonaws.com/global/globa... today is not exactly great if one is pinning their checksum in builds to ensure at least a well-known version.
